Ioana Alecsiu played her second doubles semifinal in a row in the ITF Juniors Circuit at "Bangladesh International Junior Championships 2009, losing the encounter against the second seeds Lee/Upapong with 26, 06. Ioana Alecsiu's doubles partner was Yung-Hsin Chen from Taipei.
