Bogdan leaves US Open in quarterfinal

US Open Juniors Championships 2008 brought for the Olimpia Bucharest player Elena Bogdan one quarterfinal in the singles juniors draw.

Elena Bogdan managed to win round by round by defeating Chanel Simmons ( RSA ), Sandra Roma ( SWE ) and Marta Sirotkina ( RUS ) before clashing in the quarterfinal against Gabriela Pas Franco from Venezuela.

After 65 minutes of play  Elena Bogdan loses with 36, 06 and says good bye to New York with a wonderfull performance in an another Grand Slam event this year after the doubles final in Melborune and the singles final in Paris.

With this result Elena Bogdan mentains her 5th place in the world juniors rankings.
