[31 July 2009]

Hours of training, trips and school ... Among them Elena Cadar smiled while answering few questions:

Olimpia Tennis: You participated alongside the Romanian Tennis Federation Team in few of the strongest Tennis Europe events, how was it?
Elena Cadar: Taking part in the Tennis Europe Events alongside Romanian Tennis Federation was a special occasion to demonstrate my value, to meet new players and visit new places. At the same time it was a provocation for me because I proposed myself to win every match in order to reach my limits.

Olimpia Tennis: All your good results incresead your European ranking up to position numer 3. What is your sensation right now?
Elena Cadar: I am very happy that I have such a good ranking in the European Circuit, but I know that is just a little step in my road up to the high performance. I am satisfied with what I have done so far and I will try to demonstrate that I deserve to be in the top of the rankings.

Olimpia Tennis: You've been elected to travel with the Tennis Europe Team for another strong tournaments in the next period of time, did you expected?
Elena Cadar: Honestly no, I didn't expected to be elected. I was very happy when I heard that.

Olimpia Tennis: In autumn you'll be again the youngest girl of the Olimpia Junior Team and you'll have to defend the title. Is this a burden or a provocation for you?
Elena Cadar: For me every match, every tournament is a chance to obtain more, to progress. I will train myself and I will try to defend the title for the first time.

Olimpia Tennis: In the final, can you describe yourself outside the tennis court?
Elena Cadar: Me outside the tennis court? ...  let me think ... I am an opened character, I make new friends quickly, I love to have smiling people near me, sometimes a little bit absentminded ... but ... I am good person in my opinion :) ... I like to read, to relax and talk with my friends  :) I am ambitious outside the court too.

Good luck Elena!
