Iova takes her chances

Andreea took part at her first major ITF Women's Tournament so far, a $75000 event held in Rome at the club Tiro a Volo, managing to win the first round in qualifying.

Altghough she was the second in the alternates list on thursday after the "freeze deadline" Andreea decided to make the trip to Rome in order to play, so after she finally entered in the qualifying draw she didn't give up and won in straight set the first match, losing in second round from the fifth seed.
