National Juniors Team Champions 2009 - Olimpia Girls Team

The 2009 National Team Junior Championship has designated it's champions: Olimpia Bucharest ( girls ) and LPS CSS Pitesti ( boys ) are the National Team Champions.

The girls contest started few days earlier because of the involving of few girls in the European Masters U16 ( among them Elena Cadar ) gathering at the start few of the toughest players of the moment in the european and international rankings: Elena Bogdan, Cristina Dinu, Elena Cadar, Simona Ionescu.

Announced as the first seed Olimpia Bucharest respected once again it's statut as favourite and continued with excelence in the National Team Championships winning for the third time in a row the title.

In it's way to the title Olimpia Team defeated the teams of the following clubs:

First round: Olimpia Bucharest - Tenis Club ABCE: 5-0

First enocunter final four: Olimpia Bucharest - Tenis Club Bucharest: 4-1

Second encounter final four: Olimpia Bucharest - SCM Bacau: 4-1

The final of the Team Championship: Olimpia Bucharest - TC 2000: 3-2
