Ready, play! Wimbledon 2008

The 2008 edition of the third Grand Slam of the year is ready to begin in Londra, almost all of the greatest players at the moment being on the lists.

In the women's draw, the romanian Raluca Olaru is going to play directly in the singles main draw. She is going to Londra after a tournament and a training week at Eastbourne where she played in the qualifying. After few days of accomodation on grass Raluca hopes to make a good result in Wimbledon.

In the juniors event, Elena Bogdan will play also in the singles main draw after a week from Raluca's debut. Being with the ITF Team for the last weeks she will play one ITF grade 1 tournament in Roehamptom before starting the Wimbledon competition.
