Semifinal for Bogdan in Uzbekistan

Elena Bogdan qualified in the singles semifinal of the $25.000 Namangan ITF Women's Circuit Event held in Uzbekistan. Elena managed to pass through the first round with a comfortable win in straight sets against Ana Jikia from Georgia with 60,62, after that succeeding two more times against Karolina Pliskova from Czech Republic with 61,76(5) and in the quarterfinals against the 3^rd seed Lenka Wienerova from Slovakia with 62,62. In the semifinal Elena lost from her doubles partener Ganna Piven from Ukraine with 36,16.

In the doubles draw Elena alongside Piven won the first round against the team Kvatsabaia(GEO)/Sharipova(UZB)with 61,64 losing the quarterfinal encounter with the team Buyukakcay(TUR)/Ozgen(TUR)in the supertiebreak: 36, 61, 6-10.
