Between two tournaments in Egypt Andree Iova stayed few minutes for a chat in order to submit the interview of the month available only on the Olimpia Players Web Site:
Olimpia Tennis: How did you chose tennis among many others opportunities or sports?
Andreea Iova: My father took me to athletics when I was 8 years old and the coach guided me to tennis because in his vision I was too young for athletics.
Olimpia Tennis: It was a suitable choice if you are trying to analyze right now after few years of practice?
Andreea Iova: Yes, it definitely was.
Olimpia Tennis: What was the toughest chapter of your career?
Andreea Iova: My comeback after the knee surgery happened last year, the re-adaptation with the circuit and the ten matches lost in a row.
Olimpia Tennis: We dare to ask you what you can tell us about the beautiful chapter of your career.
Andreea Iova: Winning all the titles as National Champion of Romania during two years from the individual one through the doubles and mixt doubles ones and of course the juniors and women's team gold medals alongside Olimpia.
Olimpia Tennis: You mentioned the term "teams" and it is interesting the fact that even tennis is an individual sport you managed to feel comfortable when you played in a team. What is the secret?
Andreea Iova: I like the team atmosphere. And if the team is united then all the things are happening from themselves.
Olimpia Tennis: There is a played match who remains in your memory?
Andreea Iova: Few years ago I played in Arad at a futures event against a player named Varvara Galanina and I won in the third set tiebreak after four hours of play.
Olimpia Tennis: If you will have to advice a player during a tough match, what will you said to him?
Andreea Iova: Play with confidence!
Olimpia Tennis: And if the player will be you?
Andreea Iova: I will say the same (she smiles).
Olimpia Tenis: We wish you to play with confidence in the future then!
Andreea Iova: Thank you very much, I will.
